On December 1st we have a good night at Klättercentret. It involves workshops focusing on sustainable training, lectures and meetings. The event is open to anyone regardless of level.

Workshop - TRX & Rings

Zofia, a climbing anthropologist from Poland will hold two workshops during the day. The one with focus on rings as exercise tools and the other in how one can train using a TRX.

Level: All (rings and TRX can be a bit heavy to work in but the workshops are designed to work in pairs)

Workshop - Technology

Sara, climbing yoga enthusiast from Austria will hold a wokrshop on climbing technique. The first will focus on footwork and foot precision, her second workshop will treat the little more mental aspects of climbing.

Workshop - introduction to bouldering

Evelina, will introduce you who are new to climbing or bouldering to the basics. She will hand in some technical tips with the general know hows that she will highlight during her 30 minutes.

Workshop - Strength Training for climbing

Susanna, the Climbing Center's own physiotherapist will hold a workshop on strength training focusing on the barbell. She will go through basic exercises that are good complement to climbing.

Workshop - Core training

Nikita will be drilling you through a core workshop for 30 minutes. She will show exercises that are easy to implement on their own with focus on both belly and back.

Workshop - dynamic movements

Sandra will hold two workshops on dynamic movements, both dynos, but also the movements that require us to stretch out without losing our feet.

Lecture - Submit your exercise along your menstrual cycle

Märta Bergkvist, training instructor and certified health counselor from Viljan Coaching lectures on how to train training throughout the cycle, for better results and ways. You will also get tips on how to train to minimize the risk of injury.

Zofia Reych works as a freelance journalist from the beautiful forest Fontainebleau.
